Guests at the school were representatives of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv, who presented to the 12th-grade students the opportunities for study and development at the higher education institution.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Tonya Georgieva – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Qualification, as well as Associate Professors Dobri Dunchev, Rositsa Uzunova, and Nesho Neshev. They spoke about the key advantages of the university, including the high quality of education, the compact and well-organized campus with a modern facility base, dormitories, and sports facilities, all located in one place—only 22 minutes from the city center.
Prof. Georgieva described the Agricultural University as “boutique,” emphasizing the prospects for professional development, active international programs such as “Erasmus+,” and close cooperation with business.
The graduating students showed interest in the already established specialty “Business Economics,” as well as the new and innovative program “Bioeconomy,” combining science, technology, and sustainable development.
The meeting took place in an excellent atmosphere, and the students joined in with questions and comments, showing activity and engagement—a sign that more and more of them are thinking seriously about the next important step after high school.
