The event took place at Petar Beron Primary School – Plovdiv, where initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle for teachers and establishing them as positive role models were presented to students and staff from several schools.
👥 From the NTG team, the event was attended by Ms Iskra Koicheva – deputy headteacher and project coordinator for the school – as well as teachers Polina Marinova, Vladimir Baev, Boris Biserov and Stanislava Urumova.
Their participation was an expression of personal commitment to the cause of a healthier and more balanced teaching profession, and their presence was highly appreciated by the organisers.
🧘♂️ When self-care is part of the profession
The idea of the project is clear: a teacher who takes care of themselves – physically, emotionally and mentally – is more effective in the classroom and inspires through their personal example. The programme includes: 🔹 training and physical activities, 🔹 practical workshops for coping with stress, 🔹 international seminars and exchange of good practices for an active school environment.
💬 Support and motivation.
NTG’s participation in the project continues with commitment and the desire to promote a new approach to the professional role of the teacher – not only as an educator, but also as an inspiring role model for students. “We are glad to be part of an initiative that puts the focus on us – the teachers. Taking care of ourselves means taking care of our students as well.” – shared the members of the NTG team.
