STEM competencies and digital skills in action: students from NTG took part in Digital4Plovdiv 2025
In line with the activities for implementing the National Programme “Building a School STEM Environment”, 11th-grade students from the specialisations “Trade”, “Economics and Management”, and “Business Informatics” at the National Trade High School – Plovdiv took part in Digital4Plovdiv 2025 – a large-scale forum that this year focused on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming business strategies and digital processes.
The group was led by Miglena Kraevska – mentor of the practice enterprise and teacher of digital marketing and marketing management.
The event gave students the opportunity to follow current trends in AI marketing, content creation, and global processes in e-commerce, thereby connecting directly with the topics they work on at school – digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and business management.
The forum was a platform for building key competencies related to the creation and management of digital business processes, the development of innovative sales models, and the application of knowledge characteristic of STEM education – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Participation in the event was made possible by invitation from Mr. Lyubomir Atanasov – founder of Digital4 and managing partner at Internet Media Group, as well as by invitation from Mr. Rangel Matanski – chairman of NTG’s Public Council.
This partnership is yet another example of the active link between the school, business, and the academic community, which prepares our students for the professions of the future.
