National Library Week at NTG

On 12 May 2026, our guest in the NTG library was Tatyana Delgado for the presentation of her first book: "Tales from the Wardrobe"

National Library Week at NTG
Who is she, what were her first attempts at writing, is it easy to write for children, which is her favorite tale from the book, what real stories stand behind the tales, how dreams are achieved and what the next dream is, is it easy to publish a book, what reading gives us, and many other questions were discussed during the meeting with her. Against the background of beautiful music and the atmosphere in the library, we were transported to a magical world in which, when the clock strikes midnight, the old wardrobe comes to life – the socks begin to argue, the coats tell each other stories, and a capricious snowflake searches for her way to the earth. Meanwhile, Larry the cat and Ari the dog discover that friendship warms even the coldest rain, and a textbook and a storybook realize that imagination and knowledge can peacefully coexist on the same shelf. "A person who reads is beautiful!" she quoted Georgi Gospodinov to the students of class 9.B, whose homeroom teacher is Valeriya Stamatova. "Books take us to another wonderful world, and nothing there is ordinary. Books will give you so much. Never give up on your dreams! No one and nothing should ever break you. Let us be kind, because kindness will save the world." In the library’s chronicle book, Tatyana Delgado wrote: "To the readers of NTG, with love and gratitude for your support, and with wishes for happiness and fulfilled dreams. P.S. A book is a door to another world of adventures. I wish you always to keep the key to it!"
