The National Trade School – Plovdiv respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use the website www.ntg-plovdiv.net, for what purpose, and what your rights are under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act.

2. What data we process, why and on what legal basis
Visiting the website
On every visit, the server automatically records technical data – IP address, date and time of the request, the page loaded, browser and device type. This data is used to keep the website secure and working properly. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
Only if you give consent, we use Google Analytics to collect aggregated visitor statistics (number of visits, pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
External content (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps)
Videos and the map on the website are loaded from external providers only after you press the load button or allow external content. The provider then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Legal basis: your consent.
Enquiries and reports
When you contact us by email, phone or post, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to reply. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation and performance of a task in the public interest (Art. 6(1)(c) and (e) GDPR).
Published information about staff and students
The website publishes names, positions, work email addresses and photos of staff, as well as photos from school events where students may be present. Photos of students are published on the basis of consent from the student or their parent or guardian. If you would like a photo or information removed, please contact us.
The website has no registration forms or other forms that collect personal data.
3. Recipients of data
Data may be processed by the following processors and providers:
- PulpuDEV (pulpudev.com) – website hosting and technical maintenance;
- Cloudflare, Inc. – storage and delivery of published documents (Cloudflare R2);
- Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics, YouTube and Google Maps (only with your consent);
- Vimeo.com, Inc. – the video on the “School Anthem” page (only with your consent).
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union, including to the USA. Such transfers take place with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
4. Retention period
Technical server data is kept for as long as necessary for the security and maintenance of the website. Data in Google Analytics is kept for no longer than 14 months. Correspondence is kept for the periods set out in the school's records retention schedule. Cookies are kept for the periods listed in the table below.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right:
- to access your personal data;
- to have inaccurate data corrected;
- to have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
- to restrict processing;
- to object to processing;
- to data portability;
- to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
