On 1 April, the twelfth-grade students held their classes in the Rectorate building, where they were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Margarita Ruseva. She introduced them to the history of the university and encouraged them to follow their dreams and choose a professional path that inspires them.
The students were guided by their teacher, Nikolay Nikolov, under whose leadership part of the training program during the day was also conducted.
As part of the initiative, they immersed themselves in the real academic environment – they attended a macroeconomics seminar together with first-year university students and actively took part in the assigned tasks. Part of the program also included team challenges through which the young people explored the university by interviewing students, lecturers, and staff members.
Each team presented its discoveries and impressions of the different faculties, demonstrating teamwork, analytical thinking, and communication skills. The students had the opportunity to tour key areas in the Rectorate and feel the atmosphere of student life.
The event ended with an award ceremony for the participants, who successfully stepped into the role of students – a role they now view with confidence, motivation, and anticipation.
The school leadership expresses its gratitude to the partners from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences for the hospitality and the inspiring experience, which gave the students valuable perspective on their future academic development.
