The event was part of the high school’s initiatives for career guidance and for introducing students to the opportunities for continuing their education after graduating from secondary school.
Guests at the meeting were Dr. Megi Dakova, Chief Assistant in the Department of “Electronics, Communications and Information Technologies”, as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Delko Zlatanski. Students from the university also joined the discussion – Tatyana Ruseva, a graduate of NTG, and Veselin Zlatanov, who shared personal experience from their studies.
During the presentation, the students were introduced to the diverse degree programs offered by the faculty – from computer and telecommunications engineering to medical technologies and eco-energy technologies. The opportunities for participation in the student council, internship programs, and career realization after graduation in leading companies were also presented.
The meeting was held with heightened interest from the students, who actively asked questions and took part in the discussion. The presentation was delivered in an accessible and engaging way and succeeded in giving a real idea of student life and professional prospects.
The initiative showed how important the connection between secondary school and higher education is for making an informed choice of future profession.
