Future graduates of the National Trade Gymnasium in Plovdiv met with representatives of the Employment Agency, who introduced them to the institution's activities and opportunities for professional development after finishing school.
During the meeting, experts from the Labor Bureau – Plovdiv presented the main functions of the service – mediation between job seekers and employers, as well as organizing training for acquiring qualifications and new skills.
Emphasis was placed on programs aimed at young people without work experience. Among them are initiatives for internships, subsidized employment and participation in training that support the transition from school to the working environment. Some of the measures enable young people to start working immediately after graduation while simultaneously gaining practical skills.
Students showed interest in specific questions related to registration at the labor bureau, job searching, and the most sought-after professions in the regional labor market.
Such meetings are organized with the aim of giving students a clearer picture of the opportunities ahead of them after completing secondary education and helping them navigate their first steps towards professional development more easily.
