The campaign is carried out in partnership with the National Revenue Agency and is aimed at 10th-grade students. The goal is to provide more clarity, knowledge and awareness of the risks that lie behind seemingly harmless online betting.
The first meeting for this school year has already taken place and left a strong impression on the audience. The speaker was Elena Manolova – PR officer of the NRA Plovdiv – who, in an accessible and engaging way, presented up-to-date statistics and real-life case studies. Students learned how gambling addiction can begin unnoticed, what mechanisms allow minors to access betting, and why awareness and personal responsibility are key to preventing addictions.
The high school is a long-standing partner of the NRA and for a second consecutive year is actively participating in the Agency’s initiative. More meetings, discussions and examples from real life are forthcoming – all aimed at helping students feel confident, informed and prepared to recognize risks in time.
We look forward to the next steps of the campaign with interest and a strong sense of responsibility.
