The National Trade High School - Plovdiv, in support of 10-year-old Dimitar Milkov Milanov, who needs urgent and expensive treatment, managed to raise BGN 6,030 from the charity campaign "Hope instead of flowers".

The initiative is part of the national campaign "Give hope instead of flowers", organized by the "Night of Angels" foundation.

The Trade High School joined the cause with a decision to replace traditional bouquets for September 15 with a fundraising campaign. The funds were collected in a specially placed box in the high school, and students, parents, teachers, the Board of Trustees, the Public Council, and partners participated in the campaign.

"This is not just a fundraising campaign. This is a lesson - for us and for the students - that school is not only a place for knowledge, but also for building values. "Mitko is not our student, but he is the grandson of our employee. This makes him part of us," said the director of the high school, Dr. Petya Gerasimova. The collected amount was handed over to the "Night of Angels" foundation and will be used for Mitkos treatment, as well as for other children included in the foundations campaigns.

The documents are submitted to the registry office of the Plovdiv Municipality or sent by mail.
