The event brought together volunteers, partners, and supporters of the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth – Plovdiv, united by the idea of humanity, empathy, and an active civic stance.
The high school was recognized for its long-standing cooperation and support for the initiatives of the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth. The certificate was presented personally to the school principal, Nikolay Mitev, who accepted the recognition on behalf of the entire school community.
Plamena Vasileva from class 9.E also received a special distinction. She was awarded an individual certificate for her activity, dedication, and participation in volunteer causes and initiatives of the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth.
During the ceremony, the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth – Plovdiv emphasized the importance of young people who, with ideas, energy, and heart, turn volunteering into a true mission. Other schools, universities, and student organizations supporting the work of the organization over the years were also honored.
World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day is marked as a day of humanity and volunteering – values that inspire thousands of young people to help and to be an active part of society.
