International Erasmus+ RISE Project Launches with First Partner Meeting in Portugal
It is with great excitement that we share that on 18 and 19 May 2026 in Gondomar (Porto district), Portugal, the first in-person partner meeting took place, officially launching the substantive work on the international Erasmus+ RISE project — Resilience, Independence, and Self-Empowerment. In this innovative and highly important initiative for modern education, the National Commercial High School is partnering with 7 other leading organizations from 4 European countries: Bulgaria, Portugal, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

What is the mission of RISE?

The project is dedicated to supporting our students on their path to building greater independence, emotional resilience, and self-confidence. In today’s dynamic world, it is more important than ever for young people to develop key life skills. The meeting in Portugal brought together diverse cultural perspectives and laid a solid foundation for successful cooperation. We believe that through the RISE project we will give our students the best tools to become successful, adaptable, and strong individuals!
