Sixteen students from the National Commercial High School took part, studying in the specialties “Customs and Tax Administration”, “Commerce”, and “Operational Accounting”.
The internship was carried out over three weeks and gave the participants the opportunity to work in different companies, each offering unique activities and services. Among them were:
Terminal: A company providing warehouse management services, cargo handling, storage, and maintenance of goods.
Italian supermarket: Offers a rich assortment of Italian products such as extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, cured meats, cheeses, pasta, jams, pickles, sweets, beverages, and marmalades.
Second-hand shop: Accepts furniture, household goods, clothing, books, electronics, toys, sports equipment, home textiles, shoes, and other items.
Gallery: Presents works by Swedish, Danish, and Polish artists, including sculptures in wood, glass, and ceramics, prints, blown glass, stone, metal, and ceramics.
Company for sheepskin products: Produces clothing, hats, gloves, slippers, stools, and sheep-shaped swings.
Organization specialized in implementing Erasmus+ projects in the field of internships and apprenticeships for students, as well as language and methodological training for teachers.
Bicycle warehouse: A specialized center for bicycle rental and organizing tourist experiences, including one-way cycling trips and eco-tourism.
The project participants had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a real working environment, enriching and further developing their knowledge, skills, and competences: skills for correctly reading, processing, sorting, and storing information; document processing; packaging, storing, and maintaining goods; goods inventory; administrative and organizational activities; communication and customer service; advertising activities, advertising videos for social media; improvement of English language skills, and more.
This initiative not only provided them with practical experience, but also broadened their cultural horizons through interaction with different professional environments and cultural contexts.
