Future finance professionals in practice: inspiring visit by NTG students to the Bulgarian National Bank, the Presidency, and the National Audit Office
The initiative involved the winners of the banking accounting competition and outstanding students of the high school, accompanied by their teacher Nikolay Nikolov. The first stop was the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB). There, the students had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the impressive building and its history. They visited the BNB Museum, where they traced the development of money—from antiquity to the present day—as well as the process of coin minting. The next point on the program was the Presidency of the Republic of Bulgaria. The students immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the institution, learned more about the powers of the President, and explored the main halls of the building. The tour began at the Ceremonial Entrance, passed through the Coat of Arms Hall, and ended in the Presidential Library. The last institution they visited was the National Audit Office—the supreme body for control over public finances. There, the students met with auditors and experts who presented the activities and role of the institution in the context of financial oversight. During the visit, the students demonstrated excellent knowledge in the fields of economics, finance, accounting, and law. In this way, the institutions studied in class came to life and turned into valuable practical experience. Congratulations on the brilliant performance of our students, who worthily proved the high level of preparation at the Commercial High School!
